Antique reupholstered furniture
The furniture in i gigi is one of my favourite things about the store.  The chairs and sofas are always unique and beautifully showcase Alex and Zoe's vision.

The chairs are often reupholstered in antique Hungarian linens. Texture and tone are important factors in the i gigi look, the fabrics will mimic nature with earthy colours, but, just when you have decided you understand the 'look' , they will surprise you with a beautiful floral print that is just stunning.  There are little quirks and touches of humour like a chair reupholstered in a vintage shirt with the buttons  and collar (perfect for a dressing room or bedroom). Always there are a selection of cushions to compliment the chairs and sofas, often hand embroidered to add texture, or a  with a gorgeous print to add interest.  The look is ever changing, ever evolving and always beautiful.

    What a delightful treat to experience the delicious cafe offerings upstairs from the main store! Sitting amongst the kitchen counters where the food was prepared felt as though we were visiting a good friend fixing lunch for us in her home...quite a charming atmosphere!
    The chicken pate was absolutely memorable, and I don't even like pate...until now! My daughter's first try with felafel added a new favorite to her list also.
    Besides the fact that our food was scrumptious, the presentation of each dish was truly a feast for the eyes.
    I tried to steal a quick glance as other diners got their orders, because each dish's presentation was so incredibly creative that it brought smiles to one's face. I cannot wait to return! Many thanks!
